Wort Chiller

The wort chiller is a counterflow chiller. Cold water flows thru the vinyl outer tubing in one direction and the hot wort flows thru the copper tubing inside the vinyl tubing in the opposite direction.

Not knowing just how long to build the chiller, I made it 35 feet long to be sure that the wort was cold by the time it left the chiller. The end result is that it is too cold when it leaves so I have to slow down the water flow to keep from over chilling.
